Heritage Protection Partnership with GKB
A meaningful act of support for Country, cultural heritage and future generations.
Oriental Holdings supported GKB Impact by providing ground-penetrating radar equipment to assist with Aboriginal cultural heritage protection and the careful care of Country.
The equipment helps GKB Impact identify areas where ancestral remains may be present, strengthening its ability to protect heritage places with greater confidence, care and independence.
This support also provides a foundation for future training, capability building and ongoing heritage protection work, helping GKB Impact continue its important role in caring for Country and serving community needs.
The ceremony reflected respect beyond words. The presentation of artwork, the local blessing of the GPR vehicle, and the attendance of Mayor Jaysen Miguel, Mayor of the City of Bunbury, made this moment a meaningful expression of cultural recognition, community support and shared goodwill.
